Brilliant Agora and Acropolis views right from the hotel, plus amazing location!

Loved it here! Wished we could have stayed longer! Host Julius was very kind, friendly and helpful. The view of the Temple in the ancient Agora from our room was fabulous, as was the view of the Acropolis from the hotel's rooftop terrace, both day and night. The location is brilliant, just a few minutes walk to the Agora, Hadrian's library, a lively main square with plenty of great restaurants and shops, plus the train station to catch train to airport. Spacious room with separate sofa area & the shower was fabulous! Lift worked well. Highly recommend it!

Comfortable Stay With Spectacular View!

I recently had a wonderful stay. Julius the host was friendly, communicative and informative. The room was clean, spacious and had a wonderful shower. Close to Monastiraki Market and many restaurants. My goal was to have a hotel with a spectacular view of the Acropolis to do photography. This place exceeded my expectations and had a 24 hour accessible rooftop balcony. I highly recommend.

Great location!

The location of this property is perfect for exploring the historical sites in Athens. It's close to many restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The rooftop area has a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Our host Mario, was extremely helpful and kind.

We wished the beds were more comfortable. One night the noise from the bar below went on past midnight, but that wasn't unexpected.

Highly recommend- great location, comfort, and staff!

We had a delightful stay at The Athens Version Luxury Suites! The staff of the hotel and restaurant were super friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is conveniently located near an amazing number of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The Monastiraki Square and Metro Station is a short five minute walk and the walk to the Acropolis entrance is an easy 15 minute stroll. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had a great shower. The view of the Acropolis from the top of the hotel is outstanding!

Beautiful and magical

The location was amazing in distance to the Acropolis, beautiful rooftop view of Acropolis! Mario was amazing and assisted us with everything that you need!

Close living quarters but we are Americans and we are used to more space. Bathroom floor got very slippery when wet.

Nice, clean, comfortable, convenient.

Excellent communication with staff promptly assisting locating and accessing the property. Recommend call or message ahead to let them know your expected arrival time, help locate and get door access code if necessary. If getting a ride, be sure that your driver knows exactly where the property entrance is located. Narrow bustling area with cobblestone streets not conducive to luggage dragging. Arrived early so held our bags and delivered to the rooms by the time we returned. Very clean spacious rooms and comfortable bed and furnishing. Clean and ample bathroom. Stocked coffee maker. Very nice rooftop deck with lounges, chairs, and view of the Acropolis. Staff super nice and helpful. Conveniently located for easy walking to neighborhoods, restaurants, sightseeing and shopping.

Audible traffic noise at least in street and corner rooms. Not particularly loud or disruptive with windows closed. Narrow spiral staircase access to rooms and tiny elevator. Not reasons to avoid, just to be aware.

Fabulous location and wonderful stay!

The Athens Version Luxury Suites is an excellent hidden gem in Monastiraki. The hotel is only 3 minutes away from the ancient Agora, and a pleasant uphill walk to access the Acropolis. Because the hotel is so close to the Agora, a lot of the food options a feel a bit touristy, but the food and service are excellent everywhere so it wasn't really a negative. The shop next door sells a wide range of lovely beers and wines, and they are best enjoyed on the terrace with an absolutely incredible view of the Parthenon. The showers are also amazing. The water pressure is so good and it was the perfect thing to wash off the dust from a day spent at the Agora and climbing the Acropolis. The management are lovely and made sure we had all the relevant information to access the hotel even if they were not able to greet us at check in, and check out was also a breeze. Cannot recommend this place enough

We wish there was a corkscrew in the room, as we flew in on a plane and could not carry our own, so we were limited on which wines we could purchase from the shop next door. But that didn't really bother us that much :)

Great location and suite! Clean and tidy and had everything you needed. The rooftop view was amazing! Worth the price ticket alone. Very close to restaurants, bars as well as the train station. The host was so welcoming and nothing was a fuss! Highly recommend
